1966 Chevrolet Impala
From Motocar Revival Company
Sit down for this one because we guarantee that you’ve never seen a car story that begins like this one before! This Impala project came to us by flatbed and crane! It was startling (and more than a little cool) to say the least when it pulled up to the shop. This vehicle was started by a different shop and only made it through the disassembly stage. Motocar Revival Company continued the project by removing the body from the chassis and repairing some bad spots in the chassis. After repairing, we sand blasted it and painted it black. From there, we jumped directly into metal fabrication by repairing the floor pans, the windshield channel and the fire wall. We replaced the quarter panels, removed dents and dings, and then leaded in the stock seams. We finished the body work and painted it to the customers specs. Even the motor got upgraded to a GM Performance crate motor. Adding the 700r4 overdrive transmission, a new Vintage Air unit, and wiring it with an American Auto Wire Highway 15 Kit, this car was ready for final assembly and an upgraded stereo system. A new top and interior were installed along with new wheels and tires and this beauty was ready for cruising!
