How it Works
If you are interested in having a classic car restored, a custom car built from scratch, or just some minor (or major) service work done, there are a few things you need to know:
Make sure you have a budget in mind. Never over extend yourself when you are restoring your car or truck (i.e. don’t get that third mortgage on your home to cover your restoration expenses. You can’t live in your vehicle while we work on it. Sorry, that’s just our company policy.) Since we are able to take projects in at different stages, you have options that you can consider when budgeting.
Motocar Revival Company will give you an estimate on how much we think your project will cost, but since we cannot see from the surface what is underneath the paint (check out our Rambler album where we literally were talking about a papier-mâché surprise), we cannot guarantee that there won’t be added expenses to fix said surprises. We do guarantee that if a surprise does arise, we will call you and reevaluate with you your project goals. Because of this, Motocar Revival Company charges time and materials every week.
The parts and materials that we use are all from top notch manufactures from around the world to ensure that your project just doesn’t look great but is well-built and safe for the road. Motocar Revival Company can handle any size project from a repaint on a fender to a complete restoration. We specialize in metal fabrication, custom lead work, custom body and paint, chassis fabrication, wiring, suspension upgrades and so much more.
Like most restoration and hot rod shops, we are booked out anywhere from months to years depending on your project’s needs and we require a nonrefundable deposit to get your project onto our schedule. With 20+ years of experience under our roof, we will be there to guide you through your project. We can give you recommendations on work that we do not cover in our shop such as motor rebuilds, transmission rebuilds, frame straightening, sand blasting, tire mounting, and interiors.
If you do not have a vehicle purchased but you would like to have a project built we can also find you the car or truck of your dreams to restore. If all of this sounds like a good fit for you, give us a call with questions or stop by our shop, chat with our staff, and see some of the current projects. And since you are here, check out the albums on our home page and then go over to Facebook and give us a thumbs up so that you can keep tabs on our current and future projects!
